First, Id like to commend Bobby on how pleasant to work with he is. He is easy to reach, resolving issues before we even know they may be a problem, and very friendly.
Secondly, THE HOUSE IS GORGEOUS. Pictures don't do it justice. There are outdoor games onsite, kayaks, canoes, a tire-swing, plenty of cooking utensils, pots + pans....everything you really need to make packing (and unpacking) for the trip simple on the guest side.
Very slight downsides for us were the room layouts, although we made them work, and the ice maker was acting up for us so we ended up making a few trips out to buy ice. Other than that-- FIVE STARS! Thanks Bobby and Katia, We will definitely be coming back!

Bobby was an excellent host! His place is perfectly situated on Lake Anna and is very private. You have plenty of activities right at your fingertips if you stay here for a couple days or a long week. If you’re looking for a relaxing weekend or a more active week long trip (kayaks, canoe, SUP) this is the perfect place.

We had a family reunion; the house was perfectly suited to accommodate 8 adults, plus a variety of teens (up to 6, I think!) with some people trading places with others who had to leave throughout the week. Plenty of communal space or space to just be alone which is all important! Bobby was awesome in his responses to us(since planning since Feb) and in giving tips on the best way to travel into DC. We had family from California that had never been in to district so that was really cool! His advice on boat rental was great, too and that went smoothly. Had to be really careful in the shallow water, but it worked. Cooler water would've been nice, but the peacefulness of the area and watching/listening to wildlife far surpassed that; I can get in a pool later! It was so cool to see teenage boys have to use their imagination and cook up some old fashioned fun (like boat rides at sunset) and play cornhole and swing and fish!! The use of kayaks, paddleboard and john boat was really fun! Grill worked well. House was very clean!! Kitchen equipped, bright and lovely and huge pantry!-we left a big pasta pot as a gift so enjoy! (may need a few more mugs if many coffee drinkers) Icemaker not working so had to get bags but store not far away... My sadness was having to leave--wanted to stay a week more! We definitely want to return again!! Thanks for an awesome experience--much calmer than our usual beach vacations in the past where the cottage ate up most of our money. Our family really enjoyed this beautiful home and lake! The house was the perfect size and setup for our large family and we enjoyed kayaking, fishing and boating on the lake. Evenings were spent around the large fire pit making s'mores and the kids had a lot of fun on the tire swing! Bobby was very responsive to any issues we had.

Had a great time. The house is very clean with plenty of space for large groups. Big kitchen that opens to the living room. Each room is well equipped. The lake view is absolutely beautiful. The location is amazing. The owner is very responsible. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again.

Amazing stay for my best friends bachelorette! The house, land, and view are absolutely beautiful! With 14 girls in one house you would think it would feel cramped, but not at Casa De Lago! We were able to spread our, have our space, but also all come together in common areas and enjoy our time together! The house is full of amenties and we felt so at home! Bobby’s hospitality and availability over the weekend far exceeded all of our expectations. Many of the girls said they would love to come back with their families! Even the neighbors are friendly! Thanks for everything Tony! :) Overall great 4 days. Thank you so much!!

The property is exactly as described-- an enchanting location for a lake-side retreat with a spacious house and beautiful living space. Our community group really enjoyed having our 2nd annual retreat at Bobby's house. Bobby is easily reachable for helpful communication when I had questions. We loved the sunny space in the living room to enjoy our team discussions and made full use of the spacious kitchen. Everyone slept comfortably (4 bathrooms!) and although we didn't have time to use the kayaks or paddleboats, we knew it was an option. Of course the Lake is right there at the edge of the property which is wonderfully soothing and we seemed to have gone at the perfect time for fall foliage. It was also a nice retreat because there is no wifi to be disconnected for a change. We wished we could have stayed longer and do some grilling or more campfires, but alas!
We recommend this property to anyone! Thank you again, and we hope to see you next year!

The property that my family and I rented is one of the most beautiful places that I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying. Being right on the lake on a private plot allowed for fishing, boat/canoe usage along with much more and had an amazing view. I am looking forward to and definitely interested in renting this lake house for future occasions. 10 out of 10!
